FOR HOSTS

  • Guests scan your private QR code to upload photos, videos, and wishes or written notes. You’ll receive everything in a secure gallery updated every 24 hours. No apps required.

    • Every package includes:

      • A private QR code + upload link

      • A digital gallery with 12 months access

      • High-resolution downloads

      • A slideshow set to music

      • Unlimited photo and video uploads.

      • Pick a package according to your event attendee expectations.

  • Event packages are tiered (up to 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 submissions). Larger events may inquire for a custom package. Travel and Tribute have tiered submission packages. Baby has unlimited uploads.

  • You can expect that 60-70% of your guests will submit photos and sentiments. Couples often submit one for the two of them, and some guests won’t submit anything. If you have a guest list of 150, you can expect about 90-100 submissions. So, the 100-submission package would work.

  • Don’t worry! We’ve got you! We don’t want you to miss a memory! We’ll store any submissions that exceed the package limit. We’ll reach out to let you know, so you can upgrade your package and receive the rest of your guest submissions.

  • Event packages activate 2 weeks before your event date. Tribute, Corporate, and Baby packages activate immediately upon form completion.

  • No. Guests only need a smartphone to scan and upload.

  • Photos (JPEG, PNG) and videos (MP4, MOV). Photo size max: 50MB. Video max: 1GB.

    • After checkout, you’ll receive a customization form by email. Complete it, and we’ll send your unique QR code + upload link.

  • Yes. You’ll be able to download, hide, and even ♥ favorite photos you’d like featured in a photobook.

  • Your gallery remains open for 12 months for downloads, printing, and keepsakes.

  • Deleted items are permanent. We recommend downloading your gallery promptly.

  • Yes — works on all smartphones, tablets, and computers.

  • Yes, you can upgrade to a higher submission tier or add a photobook after purchase.

  • Yes. Select any package and indicate “gift” on the customization form. You’ll also find gift cards available in our shop..

  • The best way to share photos with a QR code is by using a platform that allows instant uploads without requiring apps or logins. Dearest provides a private QR code connected to an intelligent gallery with unlimited uploads and AI-powered organization.

  • Yes. Dearest allows guests to upload photos and videos directly from their phone browser—no app or account required.

  • Dearest packages start at $50 and include unlimited guests, photos, and videos, along with premium features like facial recognition, AI search, slideshows, and guest sentiments.

  • Yes. Hosts can download photos, print images, create keepsakes, or receive a professionally designed photo album proof. The Dearest gallery provides the best option for all of your needs. If a proof has been purchased it will be received after the submission period ends.

  • Dearest is purpose-built for events and milestones. Unlike Google Photos or Facebook, Dearest includes guest sentiments, storytelling slideshows, AI organization, and optional album creation.

FOR GUESTS

  • Simply scan the private QR code or click the shareable link. Guests can then upload photos, videos, and (if applicable) notes directly from their phone — no app required.

  • Yes. Wi-Fi or cellular data is required to upload to your gallery.

    • Event packages: 2 weeks before your event date, up to 3 months after.

    • Travel + Tribute: Up to 3 months.

    • Baby’s First Year: 24 months.

  • Yes. High-resolution downloads are included with every package, and you’ll also receive a slideshow set to music.

  • No. Only the host can manage or delete content.

  • Yes. Galleries are private by default, and only those with your link can view or contribute. Nothing is public unless you choose to share it.

  • Most issues resolve by refreshing the page or switching from Wi-Fi to cellular data. If problems persist, contact our support team for assistance.

PRICING & PURCHASING

  • Dearest offers curated digital packages for events, travel, tributes, and baby milestones. Each package includes a private QR code, a shareable upload link, and a digital gallery with high-resolution downloads. Photobooks are museum-quality albums, designed and printed in the USA.   • No additional fees for international guests uploading content. However, international shipping rates may apply for physical photobooks.

  • We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and Dearest gift cards.

  • Due to the customized nature of Dearest packages, all sales are final. If you encounter issues, please reach out to our support team — we’re committed to making things right.

PHOTOBOOKS & QUALITY

  • Our photobooks are professionally designed, curated from your guests’ submissions, and printed in the USA on archival-quality materials. Choose from hardcover, vegan leather, or genuine leather options, each crafted to become a timeless keepsake.

  • Photobooks are curated from your guest photos. You can purchase a proof when purchasing your package. We’ll wait until your submission window closes to create and send. If you decide you would like to purchase the book, we’ll apply a credit for the cost of the proof towards the purchase of the photo book.

  • Once you approve your digital proof, your photobook is printed and shipped within 7 business days.

  • Post-purchase, we’ll send a short style questionnaire to understand the look and feel you’d like. This helps guide the design of your photobook.

  • Yes. You’ll receive a digital proof with one round of minor edits included before your book goes to print.

  • Hardcover and Leather Photo Books are printed on Silver Halide Digital C (real photo paper). The Hardcover cover is laminated with a water-resistant semi-gloss finish and is 1/8 in thick. The pages are approximately ½ mm thick.

    All of the Dearest Photobooks are made with Delux Layflat Bindings.

  • Yes! By all means! There are two ways to do that:

    1. Your gallery has a store that offers a large selection of photobooks and other photo-related items. You can create the book you desire directly from your gallery.

    2. If you would like us to curate the photobook, please reach out to us at inquiries@dearestevents.com and provide your order number or your event code. We can create an album within the 12-month period of your event.

WHITE GLOVE SERVICE

  • Our White Glove service is the The Signature Celebration package plus a Dearest team member on-site at your event. We’ll ensure your guests capture memories without confusion, assist with uploads, and troubleshoot any technical issues — so you can focus on celebrating.

  • Pricing depends on the size and needs of your event. Each White Glove package is quoted individually. Please inquire here: White Glove Inquiry Form.

  • Your Dearest representative will:

    • Set up and test QR codes before the event

    • Assist guests with scanning and uploading

    • Troubleshoot technical issues in real time

    • Ensure maximum participation and photo collection

PRIVACY AND SECURITY

  • Your photos and videos are stored securely on password-protected servers. Only those with your private QR code or link can upload content, and only you (the host) have full access to download everything.

  • Never. Your photos belong to you. Dearest will never sell, share, or use your images for marketing without your explicit permission. Our Corporate package offers the host the option to receive a contact list.

  • You’ll have full access to download your gallery for 12 months. After that period, your gallery is automatically archived and deleted from our servers to protect your privacy.
